SERVICOM OFFICERS TASKED ON SERVICE DELIVERY
SERVICOM Focal and Desk Officers in the NYSC have been urged to serve as role models for ethical practices aimed at achieving effective service delivery.
The Acting National Coordinator of SERVICOM, Mrs. Nnenna Akajemeli, made the call at the networking/committee meeting of the Nodal, Focal and Desk Officers, which took place at the New Keffi Hotel, Keffi, Nasarawa State.
She advised them to continue to adopt standards, principles and core values that will drive the service delivery processes of the scheme excellently.
"In the face of public service challenges as it relates to Corps members mobilization and funding in this period of recession, there is need for SERVICOM Desk Officers of the Scheme to begin to do the seemingly impossible and think outside of the box to add value to the delivery of services to the satisfaction of Corps members and for the common good of every Nigerian," she said.
Emphasizing the importance of the SERVICOM committee in networking meeting, Akajemeli noted that it provides a platform for sharing of information, successes, knowledge, experience and best practices among officers with a view to improving service delivery to various stakeholders.
She thanked the NYSC Management for the encouragement and support being given to the SERVICOM Section and called for the sustenance of the gesture.
