Breaking News: Okorocha orders recruitment of 3,000 graduates into civil service

The Governor of Imo State, Rochas Okorocha, has instructed the newly sworn-in chairman of the state’s civil service commission, Bonaventure Ibebuike, to immediately work out modalities that will see 3,000 graduates employed into its workforce.

Okorocha, however, instructed that those to be employed must be computer-literate and must fall between the age bracket of 20 and 30.
The governor gave the order on Thursday in Owerri, the capital, while swearing-in the new Commissioner for Information, Obinna Nshirim, and a Special Adviser on Security, Hillary Opara, a retired Deputy Inspector General of Police.
Okorocha equally swore in members of the Judicial Service Commission and six new permanent secretaries.
The governor urged the newly sworn-in appointees to avoid corruption and personal enrichment but rather work towards contributing their quota for the betterment of the state.
He charged Ibebuike to work harder and bridge the communication gap between the government and the people of the state.
